We provide effective and sustainable environmental management services by collecting waste from ships, cleaning the sea surface, and conducting environmental monitoring activities to ensure the cleanliness of the Gulf of Izmit.
We collect waste generated by ships in the İzmit Bay, which hosts 41 port operators and approximately 12,000 ship movements, in accordance with regulations and within the framework of our management plan.
We take the solid and liquid waste resulting from the normal operations of ships—including bilge water, contaminated ballast, sludge, oil, wastewater, garbage, and scrubber waste—and process and dispose of it in compliance with standards at our waste reception facility in Derince.
In this way, we prevent ship waste from harming the environment, protect marine health, and contribute to sustainability by generating energy from the collected waste.
In line with our goal of protecting the environment and creating a sustainable future, we actively combat marine pollution with our sea-surface cleaning vessels.
In İzmit Bay, our sea-surface cleaning boats and environmental monitoring boat continue operations to collect floating municipal solid waste from the sea and shores, ensuring sustainable sea-surface cleanliness.
